iMark is owned by Kathy Fredrickson, a marketing consultant with over two decades of experience addressing marketing challenges and opportunities facing small businesses. Her approach has garnered the trust of clients in health care, manufacturing, non-profit and education. In addition to running a marketing consulting firm, she has written over 100 MarketSmart columns for Gannett media.
Kathy has earned a reputation as a reliable source for business advice, marketing strategy and fundraising leadership. In partnership with leaders at the UW Oshkosh College of Business, she secured the funding that led to the creation of the first MBA Executive Education Center in Green Bay. She currently serves as the Director of the Wisconsin SBDC Digital Marketing Clinic, created in 2021 as a result of successfully serving small businesses in her digital marketing courses. The student consultants have served over 250 businesses in 45 counties in the state of Wisconsin, supporting nearly 1400 jobs.
Kathy earned a bachelor of business administration degree in marketing from UW-Whitewater and a master of business administration degree from UW-Oshkosh. Since 2002, she has served as an instructor at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, teaching digital marketing, analytics, audience measurement, advertising and co-leading the National Student Advertising competition team. In 2003 and 2008, the competition teams won the District 8 regional competition against several Big Ten schools, qualifying the teams for nationals.
